Automatic Bale Opening at the First Blowroom Stage
The FA002D is an automatic disk bale plucker used at the opening stage of a cotton spinning blowroom line. Cotton bales are arranged around the working rail, allowing the plucking unit to take small fibre tufts across the prepared bale group.
The opened material is carried through the air duct to the following cleaning and mixing equipment. Taking smaller tufts at the beginning of the blowroom process supports material opening and early-stage blending before further cleaning.
Raw cotton is the main application. Man-made fibre use should be confirmed according to fibre length, bulk density, static behaviour and the required production process.
FA002D Capacity, Loading and Beater Data
The published FA002D machine data covers a production capacity of 800–1500 kg/h and a loading capacity of 2000 kg. Beater width options cover 1680–2300 mm, while the published beater speed is 740–900 rpm.
The machine uses a 5132 mm rail diameter. Installed power is listed as 4.0–10.60 kW according to the machine arrangement.
Actual working capacity is related to bale density, fibre moisture, impurity level, beater setting, suction airflow and the capacity of the following blowroom machines. The suitable configuration should be confirmed using the mill’s raw material and production information.
Cotton Bale Preparation and Blowroom Connection
Bales should be placed according to the planned material blend and working area. The bale layout, plucking depth and beater setting influence tuft size and material feeding conditions.
The air duct, fan, dust-control equipment and following blowroom machines should be planned as one connected system. Suitable airflow helps carry the opened fibre to the next processing stage.
For textile mills in GCC and MENA markets, the machine plan should also consider workshop temperature, electrical supply, dust-control requirements and local maintenance conditions.
