TD Double Jersey Circular Knitting Machine Series
The TD double jersey circular knitting machine is intended for interlock and other double-knit fabric structures. Cylinder and dial needle beds work together to form knitted loops on both sides of the fabric.
The machine can be prepared for cotton, polyester, blended and elastane-containing yarns. Fabric capability depends on yarn count, stitch length, needle type, cam arrangement and fabric take-down method.
Diameter, Gauge and Feeder Configurations
The published TD series covers machine diameters of 30 to 54 inches, gauges of 12G to 50G and feeder quantities of 48 to 156.
The machine setup should match the required yarn, fabric structure, fabric GSM, finished width and production target. The technical sheet should also state the knitting speed, motor power, take-down type and fabric roll diameter.
Interlock and Double-Knit Fabric Applications
Possible applications include interlock fabric, double-knit garment fabric, underwear fabric, sportswear fabric, base-layer fabric and other knitted materials.
The required fabric sample or construction sheet should be checked before the machine data is prepared. This helps confirm the needle gauge, feeder quantity, yarn feeder arrangement and take-down method.
For textile mills in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Oman, Qatar and nearby markets, local voltage, frequency, workshop temperature, dust conditions and daily operating hours should also be provided.
