FAQ
Q1: Can the OE40D process recycled cotton and textile waste fibres?
A1: Yes. The OE40D can process virgin cotton, recycled cotton and selected blended fibres. Its optimised fibre channel and adjustable waste-removal system help accommodate different impurity levels and fibre conditions. For recycled material, please provide the fibre length, short-fibre percentage, trash content and blending ratio so that the rotor, opening roller and spinning settings can be evaluated.
Q2: What yarn count, rotor speed and machine size are available?
A2: The current technical table lists an approximate yarn-count range of Ne 5–40, a rotor-speed range of 45,000–110,000 rpm and configurations of up to 720 spinning positions. Actual speed and applicable yarn count depend on the raw material, rotor diameter, yarn twist, quality requirement and package specification.
Q3: What information is required to obtain an OE40D quotation?
A3: Please provide your raw material, fibre length, trash level, feeding-sliver weight, target yarn count, twist, required output, number of spinning positions, rotor diameter, package size, automatic-doffing requirement, factory voltage and installation country. For recycled cotton, sending a representative fibre sample for a spinning test is recommended before the final configuration is confirmed.
Product Advantages
Key Advantages of the OE40D Rotor Spinning Machine
The OE40D is a modular open-end rotor spinning machine developed for spinning virgin cotton, recycled cotton and selected blended fibres into coarse- and medium-count yarns. It combines flexible raw-material processing, high rotor speed, digital package control and optional automatic doffing.
1.Flexible Processing of Virgin and Recycled Cotton
Optimised fibre-delivery channels and an adjustable waste-removal system allow the machine to process raw materials with different fibre lengths and impurity levels. The ceramic-lined opening channel reduces wear caused by fibre and trash, helping extend the service life of critical spinning components.
2.High-Speed and Modular Production
The rotor speed can be adjusted from 45,000 to 110,000 rpm, while the opening roller operates from 6,000 to 11,000 rpm. A modular machine structure supports configurations of up to 720 spinning positions, allowing mills to select the appropriate machine length and production scale.
3.Controlled Piecing for Stable Yarn Joints
The pneumatic lifting system provides a fast response to yarn breaks. The dedicated piecing system controls fibre feeding quantity and timing through mathematical settings and stepper-driven feeding, helping improve the strength, appearance and consistency of yarn joints.
4.Optional Automatic Doffing
The optional automatic doffing device can complete a standard doffing cycle within approximately 20 seconds under specified operating conditions. Automatic and manual modes are available, helping reduce repetitive labour and improve package-handling efficiency.
5.Digital Tension, Impurity Removal and Cooling
The electronic tension system allows operators to adjust the tension coefficient directly from the machine interface for more stable package formation. Automatic impurity removal supports consistent machine suction, while positive-pressure cooling reduces dust accumulation around electrical components and improves operating stability.
