Q1: What yarns can the TD728 rapier loom process?
A1: The TD728 is intended for flax, linen, cotton, viscose and blended yarns. Final compatibility depends on yarn count, yarn strength, fabric width, warp density, weft density and fabric weight.
Q2: What is the working speed and how many weft colours can be used?
A2: TONGDA’s published TD728 information lists a working speed of 150 to 220 rpm and up to six weft colours. Actual loom speed depends on yarn condition, weaving width, fabric density, weave and colour arrangement.

1.Natural and Viscose Yarn Applications
The TD728 works with flax, linen, cotton, viscose and blended yarns. Typical products include linen cloth, cotton fabric, viscose fabric, light home textile material and general woven cloth.
2.Middle-Speed Weaving Range
The published operating range is 150 to 220 rpm. This range supports controlled weaving with natural and regenerated yarns that may require careful warp tension and weft handling.
3.Six-Colour Weft Control
The loom supports up to six weft colours. Single-colour, mixed-colour and colour changes by pick can be arranged according to the required fabric design.
4.Broken-Weft Finding
The broken-weft finding function helps the operator locate the affected weaving position after a weft stop. This reduces manual searching before the loom resumes operation.
5.Shuttleless Rapier Weaving
Rapier yarn transfer removes the need for a conventional shuttle. The TD728 can be considered by weaving mills planning to replace older shuttle looms used for linen, cotton or viscose fabric.
