Q1: What type of yarn is suitable for the TDW718 water jet loom?
A1: The TDW718 is mainly intended for hydrophobic synthetic filament yarns, including polyester and nylon. Yarn denier, filament type, warp density and weft density should be checked according to the planned fabric.
Q2: What reed widths are available for the TDW718 series?
A2: The published series data covers reed spaces of 150, 170, 190, 210, 230, 260, 280, 320, 340 and 360 cm. The suitable width depends on the finished fabric width and the required weaving configuration.
Q3: What information is needed before purchasing a TDW718 water jet loom?
A3: Please provide the fabric type, warp yarn, weft yarn, yarn specification, finished fabric width, warp density, weft density, number of weft colors and required output. For Middle East projects, please also provide local voltage, frequency, water source, filtration conditions and workshop dimensions.
1.Water Jet Weft Insertion
The TDW718 uses a water jet to carry the weft yarn through the shed. This weaving method is suitable for hydrophobic filament yarns such as polyester and nylon.
2.Flexible Reed Width Options
The series covers reed spaces from 150 to 360 cm. Different working widths can be arranged according to the finished fabric width and weaving plan.
3.Multiple Weft Feeding Configurations
One, two, three, four and six nozzle arrangements are available within the series. The nozzle quantity can be matched with the weft yarn type and number of weft colors.
4.Mechanical or Electronic Yarn Control
The let-off and take-up systems can use mechanical or electronic arrangements. This gives weaving mills more options when planning the machine according to their fabric and production requirements.
5.Wide Synthetic Fabric Applications
The TDW718 is intended for polyester, nylon and other hydrophobic filament yarns. Typical products include lining fabrics, taffeta, home textile fabrics and other smooth synthetic woven fabrics.
